Attorney Samuel Figueroa has been practicing law since May 15, 2023. His path to criminal defense was shaped early on by witnessing the impact of incarceration on his own family. His father and uncle spent years incarcerated for violence and drug-related offenses, experiences that gave Mr. Figueroa a deep understanding of how the criminal justice system affects individuals and families alike.

Before high school, with the guidance of his mother and a transformative faith experience through Jesus Christ, Mr. Figueroa changed course—committing himself to discipline, education, and personal growth. That foundation led him to pursue criminal defense law with one goal to stand beside those formally charged with crimes and ensure they receive strong, fair, and dignified representation.

After becoming licensed in 2023, Mr. Figueroa served as a Deputy Public Defender, where he received extensive courtroom and trial experience representing indigent clients. In February 2025, he founded Figueroa Criminal Defense Group, LLC.

Today, the firm represents clients in state and federal criminal cases across every county and jurisdiction in Nevada. Mr. Figueroa is also licensed in Oregon and is expanding his practice there.
